Freshly Pressed: Buda Juice Squeezes into Dallas

Dallas is no stranger to the juice craze and things just got a little more interesting. Newcomer Buda Juice joins an assortment of shops in Big D specializing in fresh pressed juice and cleanses. Soft opening this week, their first metroplex location is in North Dallas in the same shopping center that houses the Plano Trader Joes.

Buda Juice is the brainchild of Bernard Nussbamer and Horatio Londsale-Hands. Bernard, who is also an avid yogi, car racer and photographer, with the restaurant expertise of Horatio, passionate windsurfer and co-founder of ZuZu Handmade Mexican Food, which he turned into a national award-winning Fast Casual chain.

The Buda Juice menu is short and sweet (but not artificially). The juices are labeled No. 1 – 4, there is a Buda Almond Milk (Almond, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Distilled Water and Vanilla) and 2 soups to choose from as of now. I’m told that one aspect of Buda Juice that separates them from the rest is the use of glass bottles that lock in the nutrients.  They make their juices in a cold-press that ensures the purity of the nutrients stays intact, as heat destroys valuable enzymes, vitamins and minerals.

Buda Juice also offers a cleanse ($60 1 day, $185 3 day, $310 5 day):

  • No 01: Green Juice
  • No 04: Blue Lemonade
  • No 02: Red Juice
  • No 04: Blue Lemonade
  • No S1: Buda Basilato Soup
  • No M1: Buda Almond Milk

Buda Juice officially opens it’s doors Saturday March 22nd, though they’ll be offering samples all this week.
