Tea Time at TASCHEN

Dallas, get ready to put those pinkies up. The Joule Downtown is classing things up with a new way to spill your tea.

At $59 a head, The Joule Hotel is now offering champagne afternoon tea service at the TASCHEN Library.  That’s right, when you’re done power shopping around Neiman Marcus and you need a respite, surround yourself with mid-century mosaics and bookcases filled with an edited selection of coffee-table tomes.

This exclusive services is available Fridays at 2:30 p.m. starting September 26. “The afternoon tea experience blends an innovative menu with casual tea service and glass of champagne in a communal setting.  Served in dainty colorful china, The Joule sources a selection of exotic and rare tea blends.  The seasonal tea menu is under the artful guidance of The Joule Hotel Executive Chef Jaco Smith and Executive Pastry Chef Ruben Torano who infuse timeless classics with modern flair.To help facilitate the social tea experience, guests are treated to an educational presentation from the culinary team on the varieties of teas and foods being served.”
