It’s lunchtime, you have 15-30 minutes to scarf down your sad brownbag lunch and get back to work. We all know this similar routine when we wished we could get a meal delivered quickly that tastes delicious. Thanks to our pals at Uber, Dallas gets blessed with a new kind of lunchtime practice.
Introducing UberEATS, an on-demand meal delivery service powered by the Uber app.
It’s the same cashless payment as an Uber ride. All you need to do is open the app, select the EATS option, choose your meal, tap a button to place your order, and the meal will be delivered curbside within 10 minutes. Users will have a choice each day between three meals from three different restaurants, plus desserts or drinks. For instance, I was able to have an amazingly delicious burger from The Rustic and a Grilled Cheese and Smoked Carrot Soup combo from Cafe Momentum!
The curated menu changes daily, offering up a selection of local favorites, lunchtime staples, and the newest, crave-worthy bites to satisfy every eater. Plus, lunch is $5 Off when you use my promo code LetsEATDAL13!
After they officially launch on Thursday, UberEATS will be available for lunch Monday–Friday from 11am – 2pm in the Downtown, Uptown, and Oaklawn area. (Map here. UberEats plans to expand across the city as demand increases). UberEATS meals range from $8 – $12. More information available at www.ubereats.com/eats/dallas.
