National Burger Day is tomorrow. I am pretty picky when it comes to my patties, and can be braggadocious about my buns. With that said, here’s my guide to my top choices for tomorrow and I’m throwing in a couple of deals as well. So, let’s get started.
Stackhouse has been serving the masses since 2011 and their burgers are what keeps the line out the door. It’s my first pick for where to get your grub on tomorrow. To sweeten things up, Stackhouse is offering their Single 6 oz. Burger Patty with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, & Pickle for just $4! The deal last all day.
Hopdoddy has expanded into Dallas and grown it’s loyal line of followers. With a pledge to taking burgers back to the basics and using the freshest ingredients possible, the ‘Classic’ with Angus Beef, Red Leaf Lettuce, White Onion, Ripe Beef Steak Tomato and sassy Sauce is a great way to celebrate the day.
Snuffer’s, known for their cheese fries, is actually home to a pretty delicious burger. From the Snuffer’s Classic Burger to the Fried Jalape ño Burger and the Green Chile Cheeseburger, Snuffer’s offers its guests a variety of mouthwatering options. Sneak in tomorrow and heck, get some of those diet friendly* cheese fries too.
Twisted Root‘s first location Deep Ellum opened in May of 2006 so this month marks their 8th birthday. What better way to celebrate than stopping in for a juicy burger topped with one of their signature pickles. It’s a classic and they’ve got 10 area locations to choose from!
CBD Provisions may have a high brow reputation, but their TX Grass Fed Beef Burger with cheddar, pickles on a potato bun has served me well many a time. The burger is substantial in size and when paired with one of their craft beers, you may get a nod from the bartender or server who knows full well that you’ve made the right choice. Grab it for lunch or dinner tomorrow, either way you’re in for a not widely known treat.
Mutt’s Cantina provides puppy playtime while owners and friends alike imbibe under a shady tree or along the patio. Tomorrow, Mutt’s has the mother of all burger offers. From 5-8pm Mutt & Turkey burgers with drink purchase are just $2! It’s only valid for those dining in but it’s still a great deal and the burgers are great!
Just a note – if you’re going to mention the fries with cheese at Snuffer’s – make sure you at least refer to them by their proper name – they are Cheddar Fries, not cheese fries. Also, get the Jalenpeno burger with fried jalepeno’s and grilled mushrooms – it’s amazing!
